Terms & Conditions

Payment
Debit and credit cards, inculding Solo and Electron, personal cheques with order, money orders, wire transfers and cash. If we have inadvertantly mis-priced your order we will still endeavour to keep that price. If that is not possible for us, you will be offered the choice of cancelling.
Delivery
Some things are next day if you order before 12 noon. Cheques must be cleared before dispatch. Generally, goods will be delivered in a few days and mostly within a week. If anything is urgent, we will always try to pull the stops out! Once the goods have left our depot, or have been posted or sent by courier, and the customer should cancel or refuse to accept the goods, a charge will be incurred. Any delivery time quoted is given in good faith and is approximate, and the company shall not be liable for any delay, beyond its reasonable control, in the delivery of the goods beyond its reasonable control. Time of delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract. Any damage must be reported within 24 hours.
V.A.T.
The majority of Mobility Website customers will not be liable for VAT, so products that qualify for exemption, including Scooters, Power Chairs, Bath Lifts, Stair Lifts and many accessories, will be shown without VAT. Own-use individuals or charities purchasing for the disabled, such as residential homes, are usually exempt from VAT, providing that the exemption form is completed at the ordering stage (see My Order)
Guarantee
All our goods sold to you new are brand new and have a full 12 months UK guanrantee. The guarantee covers against faults arising due to defects in manufacture or materials. Used goods are guaranteed for 3 months, parts replaced and faults corrected under guarantee will be covered for the balance of the period. Exclusions include wear and tear, undue care, accidental damage and consumables such as tyres, inner tubes, punctures, belts, bulbs,upholstry, motor brushes, fuses and batteries. Batteries always carry a limited warranty, subject to strict wear and tear clauses and are limited to defect in materials or manufacture.

It is the customers responsibilty to make sure the goods are fit for the purpose and that they are in good working order. Goods purchased from Mobility Website are at the request of the purchaser. Any advice given is general advice, because without a personal visit and assessment we can't possibly know the suitability of the product. If you have any doubts, we recommend you seek the opionio of a qualified occupational therapist prior to purchase. We will be very glad to visit you for advice and assessment, but of course there must be an extra charge.
Returns Policy
In ethical accordance with the distance selling regulations, Mobility Website allows a 7 day period to change your mind and we will give you a full refund, less costs incurred. Any returned product must be complete, undamaged, unused and in it's original packaging and protective materials i.e. everything in original condition. Bath Lifts and Stair Lifts are not returnable or refundable. Goods that are ordered in specifically or that have been tailored specially for you are not returnalbe or refundable e.g. wheelchairs to you specific requirements etc. cannot be the subject of any change of mind.

Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
